Opportunity to contribute to international Design & Technology education research

With growing shortages of specialist D&T academics and researchers globally, it is increasingly important that educators, curriculum experts, and teacher educators share their perspectives and experiences when these opportunities arise. Otherwise, the future of the field gets shaped by policy trends, staffing shortages, and whatever management spreadsheet survived the budget cuts.

Dr Sheila Plunkett from the Technological University of the Shannon is inviting participants to contribute to an international survey exploring affective learning and technological capability in technology education curricula and practice.

The research explores how motivation, values, emotional engagement, and technological capability are understood across different countries and educational contexts through a modified Delphi study process.

If you work in:
• Design & Technologies
• Technology Education
• STEM Education
• Curriculum or Teacher Education
• Educational Research

…your insights would be highly valuable to this international conversation.
