We welcome anyone with an interest in design and technologies, engineering, electronics, emerging technologies, textiles and STEaM education.

You will receive an invoice via email. School Members:Your school’s nominated coordinator needs to follow the below steps Step 1For 2024 members to re-join: Click here to start the renewal process. Step 2Fill out and review the form. During this process you will have an opportunity to update your tier if required. Please ensure that you have entered current billing information. Step 3Pay the invoice. You will receive an invoice via email. Your membership will be approved once your invoice is paid. 2. How do I set my password?You can reset your password here. 3. Who gets a profile? I’m a teacher/member of a school/organisation membership, do I need a password?Every DATTA Vic member needs a profile! Our integrated website and membership database now requires each member to set up a members' profile on the site. So once logged in, you have full access to membership benefits such as discounts, event registrations and invoices. If you haven't done so already, please take a moment to get your profile set up properly. | 4. What Tier are we?Your membership level is dependent on the total amount of students at your school – T1 - less than 500 total students $299 T2 - 500 – 1500 total students $399 T3 - 1500 + total students $499 Alternatively, each teacher can join for an individual membership for $109, to change from school to individual or vice versa, email Emma here. 5. What is the Bundle Coordinator?Your schools nominated coordinator is in charge of the main profile of the account, including keeping billing info up to date, renewing membership, linking teachers and also keeping the linked profiles current. To access your profile click here. From there you can add your teachers to the bundle as they come and go and edit your school’s info. 6. Who do I enter for billing information?Enter your school's account department email contact. They will be sent an invoice separately within 7 days. Otherwise, enter your personal email and billing address if you are likely to pay personally. 7. I’m a student. Do I need to renew my free membership?Yes. Please follow the individual member instructions with your student email address and set a password and confirm your details in the system. 8. DATTA Vic Mission
Design and Technologies is an area of the curriculum that applies the Design Process, and uses tools and materials (with new technological knowledge) to create products, services and environments.
DATTA Vic represents Design and Technologies Teachers (including Systems Engineering, STEM, Textiles, Electronics, Auto & Primary teachers) in education throughout Victoria.
DATTA Vic is a non-profit organisation that was formed in October 1987. Since our humble beginnings as a group of like-minded teachers of Technology we have grown to a membership of over 1300 educators.
The DATTA Vic committee consists of volunteer members and two part-time paid office staff.
We hold annual conferences and facilitate various Professional Learning workshops throughout the year.
