We're back with one of our most popular upskilling workshops for teachers - Fashion Illustration with Chantelle Taxis. But this year, we're delighted that we'll be hosted by the RMIT School of Fashion & Textiles.

At this hands-on workshop, participants will learn techniques to generate and communicate a range of creative design ideas. Chantelle will also take you through how to annotate your illustrations using the correct terminology to discuss the elements and principles of design. 

You'll get to meet members of the RMIT team, enjoy a VIP tour of the incredible facilities and learn more about future study and career opportunities for your students.

Best of all, you get to spend the day working in a space that is at the global forefront of fashion and textile education, training and research and industry connections.

This session is directed to educators that are new to teaching textiles but is a great session for educators who want dedicated time to learn new skills and practice creative thinking exercises that they would like to share in the classroom.

Please try to bring the following items:

• scissors/cutting knife
• coloured/watercolour pencils
• lead pencils
• eraser
• sharpener
• watercolours and paint brushes
• black waterproof pens
