This professional learning activity, delivered at Melbourne University's beautiful School of Design, will get you ready to implement the VCE Product Design & Technologies study in semester one, 2026.
We'll begin the day with a presentation by Ngairie Thomson about the previous exam report which will identify key areas that students struggle with.
Then you'll be taken through the key knowledge and skills required for Unit 1 (Design Practices) and Unit 3 (Ethical Product Design & Development) as well as hints and tips on assessment, reporting and the cross-study specifications.
After lunch, you'll all have the chance to start your own planning for the new year. You can work alone, with colleagues from your own faculties or with teachers from other schools for some outside inspiration!
Thanks to the Melbourne School of Design for their support for this program.
