Take your robotics teaching to the next level with this practical and focused professional learning session, Coding with VEX Robotics. Designed specifically for educators working with any of the VEX platforms (including VEX V5, VEX EXP, and VEX IQ), this session is ideal for classroom teachers or those coaching competitive robotics teams.

Participants will work hands-on with pre-built VEX V5 robots and explore a wide range of sensor-based coding applications using the VEXcode programming environment. From basic touch sensors to advanced AI vision systems, this workshop supports teachers to learn at their own point of need—whether you're just getting started or looking to sharpen your advanced coding skills.

This session strictly focuses on coding (not robot construction) and is led by experienced VEX alumni in collaboration with staff from the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

You'll leave with practical strategies, deeper confidence in sensor-based robotics coding, and resources you can immediately apply in your teaching or robotics coaching.
