This package features the recording and resources from the DATTA Vic VCE PD&T Unit 2 teachers' webinar, delivered in June 2024 This session was delivered by Michael Dale and Andy Ding. The focus is on how to teach designing positive impacts for end users, with a particular focus on First Nations history and culture. Presenter bios: Michael a proud Nukunu man from South Australia now living and teaching in Victoria. Be delivering PL for teachers, he wants to share how he has developed his PD&T programs to celebrate First Nations' culture and heritage, and explore some of the design-based activities his students take part in. Andy is the Wellbeing and Inclusion Leader at Gleneagles Secondary College and previous to this he was the Art and Technology Teacher at a specialist school for young people with a disability. He enjoys developing partnerships with communities and organisations to advocate for the lifelong participation of children and young people with a disability in the arts.
