Special Members' Evening at RMIT School of Design (PL1931)
Join us for a very special members' evening at RMIT, celebrating our learning area and exploring user-centred design and emerging technologies.
You'll hear a keynote presentation by Dr Scott Mayson, Senior Lecturer in Industrial Design at RMIT's School of Architecture and Design and a member of the Centre for Additive Manufacturing.
Scott's research interests cross several fields including User Centred, Healthcare and Advanced Design & Manufacture. He explores design solutions which hold people at the centre of their enquiry, and are underpinned with an inclusive design method that strives to improve the lives of people of all ages and abilities.
Participants will get to see the facilities at the School of Design and learn more about RMIT's pivotal role in the world of Australian design.
You'll also take part in the DATTA Vic AGM, and have a say in the running of YOUR teachers' association, as well as getting the chance to network with colleagues over a beer.
