A Design & Technologies Week Program


Ready to explore the exciting field of Bio-design?  Join the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Learning team on October 13 for a live virtual design hack. Explore the fascinating field of biodesign as we unpack its forms; bioutlization, biomorphism and biomimicry. Participants will catch an insider look at the newly restored Arid Garden, an awe inspiring collection of Cacti. They will practice identifying the function and adaptations of several species of cacti before being challenged to come up with their own cactus-inspired design.

  • Identification of form and function
  • Student challenge

This program is delivered in partnership with the DATTA Vic as part of National Design and Technologies Week 2020
