Introduction to VEX Robotics (PL1808)

At this introduction to VEX robotics, participants will learn about VEX mechanics, programing and how it can fit in to the Victorian/Australian Curriculum.

The session will cover

  • Mechanical Components: 
  • VEX components
  • Drive trains
  • Lifting Mechanisms
  • Intake mechanisms
  • Programming Components:
  • Basic Driver control with Robot-C Graphical
  • Basic Autonomous control with Robot-C Graphical
  • Introduction to the text based Robot-C


Participants will need to bring a pc laptop with Robot-C installed (link provided on booking). If possible, a VEX robot would be beneficial.
