David Fletcher

 

Secretary of Datta Vic 

David recently retired after teaching Design and Technology as well as Visual Communication for 29 years at Huntingtower School, Mt Waverley.  He has been Secretary of DATTA Vic for 6 years, and is involved in CAD training with Pro/Engineer and CREO 2. He is also on the OH&S Advisory Panel for the Safe Use of Machinery in Technology course.

David originally trained as a primary school teacher at Balmain Teachers College, and completed a Diploma of Industrial Arts Education at NSW Institute of Technology. He taught in Wales, UK, as a Commonwealth Exchange teacher. He lectured for 10 years in Art & Craft Education at Alexander Mackie College of Advanced Education in Sydney, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Crafts) from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
